Henry Gent, who is a Green Party County Councillor in East Devon, says
“all the Green Party candidates in East Devon stand by our national policy for local government. We want property developers to provide more funding towards local services; too many villages and towns have seen large developments built without new facilities such as GP surgeries, bus services, cycle lanes, and schools.“

There are still Town and Parish Council vacancies that have not been filled through the Councils candidate nomination process for the election on the 4th May and, therefore, there will be future opportunity for members to put themselves forward for these Council posts.
